The 2nd Gathering of the Philly Trainers' Collaborative is coming up on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
At our first gathering, we had many wonderful trainers and educators sharing ice breakers and brainstorming ideas for this collaborative. For the second gathering, we will continue seeing trainers/educators in action and learning from each other.
This time around, we'll be workshopping parts of trainings that participants bring to the gathering, and will give meaningful feedback to the presenting trainers/educators about:
-ideas for making the educational experience more participatory/engaging
-style, content, and format
-challenges and how to address issues of oppression
Those not presenting will have the chance to:
-observe a fellow trainer/educator in action
-participate in and learn from their educational style, and
-engage in thought-provoking discussion that may give you insight and ideas for your own work.
